What color of eyeshadow goes best with brown colored or rusty brown colored eyes and olive skin tone?

I know it sounds like a concieted question...but im not trying for it to seem that way, lol. What color of eyeshadow goes best with brown colored or rusty brown colored eyes and olive skin tone?
Gold would look awesome. Call me crazy, but try mixing deep purple and gray and doing a smoky eye. I think that would look awesome too. If you do the smoky eye make sure you do a nude lip to go with. What color of eyeshadow goes best with brown colored or rusty brown colored eyes and olive skin tone?
goldy
Sage or olive green.
a sparkly brown or gold.
i think olive skin and brown eyes can pull off a tonne of different colours. neutrals like peaches, browns and stuff would go really well, but if youre feeling creative i think you can pull off a combination of different, funky, bright colours.
hmm id deff say try some greens.. even goldish browns will work

What eyeshadows or eyeshadow set would you recommend for a smokey eye effect?

Because I have a party on Saturday and want to try a smokey eye effect, also which false eyelashes are the best ones to buy. Also which colours would be best to use for someone with quite dark blue eyes. Also I'm based in the UK so anything for in the stores because I need to go out tomorrow so probably from shops like superdrug or boots as I haven't got time to order online, sorry for the essay! Have a nice evening all! :)What eyeshadows or eyeshadow set would you recommend for a smokey eye effect?
Smoky eyes have been a big style for quite awhile and there's no sign this particular trend is dying. Here we show you step-by-step instructions on how to get the perfect smoky eye.

The key to the perfect smoky eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.

to c a pic go to my source

MAC has the best false eye lashes. i bought some from there and they arnt that much. lik $10 or up. some have a set to help put them on you.

Ardell is a great drugstore brand of lashes, they're about $3.00-$5.00 a pair depending on where you buy them

Shu Uemura makes amazing ones too, but the Shu ones can definitely be pricey

Ardell also makes a lash glue which works well (Ardell Lashgrip), and Duo Adhesive is a clear latex glue that works great for lashes as well as anything else you may want to apply to the body (body jewels, etc)

go to drug stores also since you live in the uk.

im not sure if you have sephora but yes i also got eyelashes and smokey eye makeup kits there and they are awseome.

very nice pricing to.What eyeshadows or eyeshadow set would you recommend for a smokey eye effect?
Try a grey eyeshadow first put nude shadow on your lid so the grey will stay then get a fine point eye pencil and pencil your upper and lower eye. Make the mark a lil outside of your eye so you can have that cat eye look. Go to Sephora store get dior mascara cost 20.00 will make your eyelashes so long you won't need fake eyelashes. Then when your done lining top and bottom go over with the grey start form outter to inner kinda go outside of your eyelid so you'll have the cat look. Then go to lower eyelid and brush a lil of the gray eyeshadow you'll look gorgeous. I do it all the time when i go out. Guys love it.
I don't know what kind of makeup they have in the uk... but if you have Loreal HIP products (they're sold at drug stores here in the US) the eye shadows work amaazingly and they have a black and white duo I like to use for a smokey effect. And any false lashes that don't look like plastic are great
Don't do black, that's how everyone does it. I like the new purple smokey eye. Use a really light shade up near the brow bone, a medium shade all over the lid, and a very deep shape in the crease and underneath the eye.

For tutorials on the smokey eye, go to Youtube. There are great tutorials, and you should be able to find some people with your eye color and skin tone so you'll know what it looks like.
Well, I always put that kind of makeup on, and the one that works very good is mineral eyeshadow. It is like the glittery one. That one will stay on very good and give you that smokey eye effect. But make sure to get the dark colors. :)
different shadows of grey look nice or browns i bought a set from no 7 in boots of greys that looks really cute. They were easy to blend too. Also use lots of eyeliner.

Remember that blending is key to smokey eyes xx good luck
mac fake eyelashes are great and silver eyeshadow with a bit of purple or just all dark purple both! hope this helps {and llots of black eyeliner}
urdan decayy

you can get it at ulta or sephora
you don't always have to use black eye shadows

it can be dark blues, purples, etc..

How can I get rid of creases in my eyeshadow?

When I put eyeshadow on it looks fine for a couple of hours. But then I have eyeshadow build up in the creases of my eyes. I use powder eyeshadow and powder foundation first. What can I do?How can I get rid of creases in my eyeshadow?
I always would get creases in my eyeshawdow no matter how much I spent on it. I have hooded eyes so that contributed alot to the creases.

You need to invest in some eye primer. Just apply it before your eyeshadow, and the shadow will go on much easier and look better. It will eliminate creasing AND it will stay on alot longer!

Mary Kay eye primer is what I use I love it. But you can find the Primer at nearly any makeup counter, Good luck %26lt;3How can I get rid of creases in my eyeshadow?
Be sure to use a moisturizer all over...and try switching to a liquid foundation...I like Loreal...and put it all over..including your eye lids. The use a cream foundation...apply with your finger tip...goes on lighter..not heavy! You can use a small brush (not pad) to add a powder highlight color!
u shouldn't put foundation on ur eyes. try an eye primer- from MAC, victoria's secret, or bobbi brown, then apply your eyeshadow. u can also vary your types of shadow: like try creme shadows (my personal favorite, because they take like 2 seconds to apply and look great as a contrast in the inner corners of your eyes for a night out), mouse shadows, liquid shadows, etc.
You need to buy an eye primer. You can get them from MAC, Mary Kay or Sephora. Or you might be using too cheap of a brand. Spend more money and it will last longer.
Use a primer before you apply your shadow. Urban Decay has a really good one.
A cream based eye shadow will only make it worse.

They make foundation creams specifically for eyeshadow base.

Mary Kay has one that works well.
Try a cream based eyeshadow.
try a cream
I have the same problem. I use Mary Kay Triple action eye enhancer or Mary Kay eye primer. They both really work.

I have recently started using Bare Escentuals Mineral veil and foundation and they work as well.
Mary Kay has a product for this very problem. It's a primer and it works.
Cream based eye-shadow can be good, but it can go very badly. It has MORE of a tendency to gather in the crease of your eyelid. I recommend using a daily moisturizer over your whole face, (unless you have combo/oily skin, then just your eyelids and T-zone). Then cover your lids with your foundation powder before applying the eye-shadow. It will help the eye-shadow stay put.

http://www.icompact.com/gallery/data/506鈥?/a>What colour of eyeshadow should I wear with a violet dress?
do violet but put

it on pretty light

becuz if you have

a pale skin complexion,

you wouldnt want the

eyeshadow to over-

power your face. i

think it will look very

pretty :) love; malorie.
I would also use a natural tone (beige or shimmery skin tone) instead of matching colour. But I would use a plum (or dark raisin) eye liner - very thin line, nothing exaggerated and nice brown-black mascara. Good luck!
Violet or a pastel pink would look nice and compliment your dress. If you opt for a pink you could get a lipstick to match.

What colour shoes and handbag are you having?
You could just simply use a black liner, and a neutral - off white, cream, light beige eye shadow over all the eye lid and charcoal grey or black on the lower part of the lid for more depth.
something that has a bit of sparkle that doesnt stray too far from your skin tone. in other words a shimmery skin colored shade. it will be pretty and natural looking but not WOW-LOOK AT MY PURPLE EYESHADOW! ya know?!
browns, gold, or greens or a combination of them
Violet to match your dress. Don't go over the top with it though. Just pop a bit under your eyes.
lavender or pink..:) silver will do too

What are some good ways to wear brightly colored eyeshadow?

i've got an eyeshadow color palette that has 88 different colors (whoa, right?!) and i was looking for some different ways to wear it. maybe with a couple different colors blended together? youtube videos or pictures would be appreciated(:

thank you! What are some good ways to wear brightly colored eyeshadow?
OH!..CHECK OUT MY GIRL ON YOUTUBE!.....Search her on youtube as itsjudytime Did you get the pallette from Costal Scents by any chance?..If so, she has a couple of video tutorials on how to do all kinds of looks, she also uses an 88 shimmer pallette from Coastal Scents...Just check her out =) Its very easy to do any look without over doing it in any way. What are some good ways to wear brightly colored eyeshadow?
That's basically what I do, blend different colours on the lid.

So let's say that I want to wear.. purple, yellow and green.

I would apply the yellow to the inner half of the lid, the green to the outer half of the lid, then blend the two in the middle together. Then I would be sure that the line at the crease is smoothed out. Then I would take the purple and apply it in the crease area. Then maybe a copper or black liner. Really, anything can work as long as you can blend and apply the makeup properly. Trust me on that!

As for some websites that you can check out, these are the ones that I would suggest the most:

  • How can I make the color of my powder eyeshadow richer?

I have beautiful shades of powder eyeshadow, but I put it on and it's not as rich as I would like, almost see-through. How can I make the color more powerful? Do I transform it into a cream shadow? Use a primer? How can I make the color of my powder eyeshadow richer?
Try putting water on your brush, it makes the colors look bolder.

Or you could use a white eyeshadow stick like NYX Jumbo Pencil. It intensifies the color. Just apply it to the lid and then apply the eyeshadow you want. However, I hear that NYX Jumbo pencils crease so make sure you use a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. How can I make the color of my powder eyeshadow richer?
Use Lise Watier Metamorphix Liquid. It transforms any powder into a liquid - it's so good you could even use it as liner! It goes on as thick as you mix it, and if you don't like the transparency the first time, you can apply layer upon layer until you like it.

That in combination with an eye primer, you will be good to go! It's an amazing product
Yes, you need to use a primer! The sell a few options at sephora! I also like the Mac one

but another tip is to buy a white shadow and apply it under the shimmery one.

but primers are great because they help with even it up the shadow and they also stay longer. Also it helps to keep your eyeliner in place and smudge free

good luck hun! I also love shimmery shadows, so girly!!!
use a primer on your lids before applying the eyeshadow. then apply some fix plus or visine on your brush before applying the eyeshadow. if you don't have fix plus or visine or you don't want to spend the money, just put water on the brush. its not as effective but its better than nothiing
you can try and put a little chapstick (weird i know) on your eye lids and then apply th powder eyeshadow. It worked for me..i heard it somewhere but dont remember where
you can put water on the brush, wipe some of it off so that it's damp and then put on your eyeshadow. It'll make it much bolder! :)
