What shade lipstick would work with brown eyeshadow?

I have brown eyes bright blond hair and i use pale makeup (ivory) i use brown eyeshadow on my lids and would like to know what shade lipstick would work best with that?

thanks! What shade lipstick would work with brown eyeshadow?
maybe a nude or light pink tinted gloss. a neutral color works with almost everything. you dont want to go too intense with a highly pigmented lipstick, so i would stick with either a stain or a gloss. What shade lipstick would work with brown eyeshadow?
if u prefer lipsticks u could try loreal colour juice stick in personali tea(nude ) or watermelon crush(pink! when applied with a bush it looks sooo sweet not too intense) it gives a smooth application and its moist not extremely glossy but has a nice sheen and it feels great nothing cakey about it and u can apply with a lipcolor brush for clean look. hope this helps a bit. xoxo.
i would use pink gloss. pink is really pretty when paired with brown. if you want to us lipstick and not gloss then make sure it is not to bright or to dark. it needs to be the right tone so that you can pull it off.
Try a mac lipstick twig is a nice colour and they have some brilliant lipglosses as well, plus any assistants on their counter will be only to pleased to help you.
i wouldn't use lipstick, it's really cakey and not shiny. you could use a pink or coral colored lip gloss. that would look real good...

. . .
light pink becuz it will go better with brown, or just use light pink lipgloss, would be good. You dont want something really dark or something really bright!
darkish pink lip GLOSS! lipstick isnt shiny and looks funky!
experiment!! take pics nd pick the nicest....but i think light pnk would look good

What eyeshadow looks good with honey brown eyeliner?

I have a light brown eyeliner. I have dark brown eyes and hair. I have light skin. What goes best? What eyeshadow looks good with honey brown eyeliner?
purples, pinks, and corals.

it sounds weird, but your eyes will look really pretty with the browns.

i hope this helped

put don't go outrageously colored.

just like nice colors. What eyeshadow looks good with honey brown eyeliner?
Well, light brown eye liner pretty much will go with anything, but if you really wanna bring out the brown color in your eyes the best eye shadow would be different shades of brown. Theres a variety of them at http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Eyeshadow/expert-wear-eye-shadow-quads.htm
i feel shimmery copperish brown should look good..

  • What eyeshadow colors or brands will make my eyes pop?

I always get compliments on my eyes but I don't know what shade to use to really make them stand out. I have blue grey eyes that occasionally have a green tint. Any specific colors or shades anyone recommends? What eyeshadow colors or brands will make my eyes pop?
Oh yeah, purple would look smashing. Purple Pop by Covergirl. I have brown eyes, and it makes them look awesome. May I also suggest maybe a brownish red? What eyeshadow colors or brands will make my eyes pop?
i have that colour of eyes and i think most colours suit tbh,

but greeney blues, purple, green, blue, and golden colours work really well. black really makes them stand out though and is a contrast to the pale colour.

i lovelovelove urban decay because they have tons and tons of colours especially oilslick, flipback, flash, and midnight cowboy rides again.

i also love mac my favourite being the mineralize eye shadow quad in fashion patch. it has 4 merged eyeshadow colours : ice blue, off white, black shimmer and light white pink.

    hope this helps :)

    x
Your eyes sound beautiful! I would say a brown eyeliner, with a green eyeshadow, if you want to bring out green, or purple to bring out blue. The brown works with your eye color to make it pop.

You may want to look into Almay's eye color collection. They have sets for each eye color. I use the 'bring out the brown' set, because I have brown eyes.
definitly nottttt purples. purples are only good for hazels and browns.

for your shade i suggest teals, and navy blues, silvers, greys, maybe a olive green, darker colors most definitley. purples would be acceptable i guess but not really a friend to your color.

    brands

if money isnt an issue get some MAC eye shadows

but covergirl and other brands work just as well
borwns can tend to really brigthenn up green eyes and gray eyes but if u have blue eyes then try purple , purple really birghtens up blue eyes but in general since u said ur eyes are blue/grey with a hint of green then i reocmmend try shades of gold , bronze or brown these tend to make light eye colors pop out more hope this helps
my eyes are the same colour, and i always wear black/dark eyeshadow and smudge them to make it look really smokey,

get a lot of compliments from people saying that my eyes really stand out... you should give it a tryy :)
pinks and browns are great for blue eyes. purple is great for green!

i'd go with a lot of shades of brown.. mac has a nice selection. :)
    Purples.

How do you turn loose powder eyeshadow into a pressed powder?

I cant use loose powder eye shadows as they fall all down my face, so i want to turn any i do have into pressed powder eye shadows or into usable solids.

Does any one know how i can do this? How do you turn loose powder eyeshadow into a pressed powder?
I'm prettty sure there's no way to do that.. but what you can do is either mix a little water in with the loose powder eye shadows so they're creamy when you apply them instead of powdery... or you need to buy an eyeshadow primer because it helps any eyeshadows adhere to your eyelid instead of falling onto your face. Also, primers help the eyeshadow show up bolder and last alll day without creasing. Oh and I recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion (from Sephora).. best primer ever.

hope this helpss. How do you turn loose powder eyeshadow into a pressed powder?
ull need alcohol.. u basically just mix the two up and push them into a container or eyeshadow pan and press them.

there are tutorials on this on youtube. search pressing pigments.
I dint think there is a way. You can mix it with Vaseline and make a cream eyeshadow but I think that would be your only option!
by adding some natual oils or creams to it.
Have you tried using a primer at all? it sounds to me like this would solve your problem.

If that doesn't give the desired resilts, mix with vaseline as the others mentioned.

How can I keep my powder eyeshadow from fading away quickly?

I love the smokey eye effect, and I always apply it, but after a half an hour it's already starting to fade. By two hours, it's barely noticeable anymore. I never touch my eyes while it is applied, and I'm not in any windy areas. How can I keep my powder shadow looking fresh and new all day long without constantly having to re-apply it?How can I keep my powder eyeshadow from fading away quickly?
A few tricks of the trade to share...

You must use some sort of base to keep your eye makeup looking fresh for hours. This can be in the form of an eyeshadow base (such as Clinique's Touch Tint). The base will keep your eyeshadow from creasing, wearing off and will help pop the color and prolong the wear (typically up to 8 hours). All you need to do is apply a thin layer of the cream and let it dry (which takes seconds) before applying your powder shadows.

The other option (which I love for doing deeper, smokier eyes) is to color the entire lid with a kohl pencil. You can use just about any shade you want, though something in a nude or taupe will be least likely to change the color of your eyeshadow. This has amazing staying power and really livens up the eyeshadow. (Note: when you apply the pencil you are literally coloring over your entire lid. It's not necessary to be ';neat'; as you then smudge it in with your fingers.)

Hope these tips help and you have eye makeup that lasts hour after hour after hour :)How can I keep my powder eyeshadow from fading away quickly?
I would suggest buying an Eyeshadow Primer before putting eyeshadow on.

It helps the eyeshadow stay in place so it doesn't crease.

My favorite one is Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer.

You can find it in Sephora, Ulta, etc.

It's $16, but it's really worth the money!
You need to use a primer first. This makes the eyeshadow stick to the lids better.

If you don't want to buy anything, try using a little lotion on your lids.
    2 words

    hair spray

it really works (if you dont mind its smell)

spray it on your face after you put on your make up, make sure to close your eyes and breathing

What are some ways to prevent eyeshadow creasing?

My eyeshadow seems to always crease- ive tried putting foundation but it didnt really work. Any other suggestions- ive heard something about a primer- what is it?What are some ways to prevent eyeshadow creasing?
Buy one that doesn't smudge. What are some ways to prevent eyeshadow creasing?
eye primer can do the job! its like a foundation for your eye lid, so your eye colors glide on smoothly and stay perfectly in place longer ,without creasing or smudging. some eye primer can intensify eye color.
Use a primer. Benefit has one. You can also try L'Oreal.

Works great. Also, just an ordinary cream eyeshadow and then apply powder eyeshadow.
wat type of eyeshadow do u use?creme or powder?if u hav oily skin den u need a powder eyeshadow,if dry skin den creme.if oily skin den b4 applyin foundation apply sme eye gel,den powder n den ur eyeshadow.if dry skin eyeshadow creases den jus us powder eye shadow.
after using your foundation, always use your powder to seal it before applying your eye shadow..always woked for me
    .
I would say primer as well. MAC has some great ones. Primer is like a foundation for eye shadow. It's a base that keeps color in place, it also tends to make the color of the eye shadow really pop and be a lot more pigmented.
MAC or Napoleon have great eye primers. Primers are designed to smooth the skin and fill in gaps and lines (creases in this instance)After applying foundation to your face use it on your eyelids also. Apply the eye primer over the foundation on your eyelid and then apply a white or neutral colour all the way over the lid and up to the brow bone/arch. Then you are ready to use your regular colours, apply these as you normally do.

If you still have problems with creasing then try using MAC eyeshadow pigments- even if they crease you jut run your finger over them and they smooth out whilst releasing a fresh burst of pigment colour.

  • What is your favorite combo of eyeshadow and eyeliner?

I love bronzes, browns and golds. I like to highlight with a shimmery gold or bronze. I use brown or even black eyeliner to give it a sultry, slightly smokey look. How do you do yours? What is your favorite combo of eyeshadow and eyeliner?
It really depends on your eye color %26amp; what you're wearing. I have green eyes so I find that shades of plums %26amp; purples make my eyes a lot more noticeable. However if I'm wearing blue, I generally don't want to wear a purplish eye shadow. In that case I switch to bronzes/browns/neutral colors. Always have a brown/black eyeliner with brownish black mascara. What is your favorite combo of eyeshadow and eyeliner?
I love love love aqua blue eyeliner and orangeish redish eyeshadow toghether for a festive look! : - )
when i wear colors that look better with black and white i use my eyeshadows i got from maybelline i bought one kit that has a silver charcoal and shimmery white in it and i use a black liner and then for the outfits that go more with the browns and neutrals i use my eyeshadow kit that goes for blue eyes from almay with their brown mascara which is awesome and a cheap brown eyeliner i found. very inexpensive especiallly if you go to ulta during their sale.
My eyeliner and eyeshadow are both bronze :) It looks really pretty

What's the best eyeliner and eyeshadow color for a pale person with brown eyes?

I'm 14 and haven't worn makeup before but I want to change that before school starts back. I'm not a makeup expert and I've heard that what color looks good on you depends on your skin color and your eye color. Well, I'm pale and have brown eyes. What's the best eyeliner and eyeshadow for a pale person with brown eyes? What's the best eyeliner and eyeshadow color for a pale person with brown eyes?
I would suggest a dark brown eyeliner with frosted/sparkly brown eyeshadow with a use a frosty/sparkly cream colored eyeshadow for the highlight [what you apply on your lid up to your eyebrows before putting the darker color on your lid]. Usually you can find 3 shade make up pallets with the highlight, and two shades of brown [light and dark brown/black] at any place that sells make up. Don't try to start out with black eyeliner or any dark colors. They're the hardest to make look ';clean'; and can make you look older [not in a good way] and ';trampy'; when not done well. Skip the black eyeliner and apply some volumizing mascara and you'll look great! What's the best eyeliner and eyeshadow color for a pale person with brown eyes?
I don't necessarily think there is one best of anything.

In my opinion, it depends on the person, the effect they are going for, and their personality.

I have brown eyes and I am very tan. I stick with browns because it looks most natural on me, and I feel more comfortable in those tones. During the day I use a brown eyeliner that I have to sharpen, or twist up for a soft effect. If I am going out in the evening, I use a thin line of black liquid eyeliner just so I can play up my eyes more.

My sister also has brown eyes, but she is very pale. I have noticed she can get away with more shades, and they look great on her. It also depends on the effect she is trying to achieve at the moment. Grays/silvers look great on her for a smoky effect, blues look good on her for a playful look. She uses pinks for romantic, and browns for casual. She rarely uses eyeliner, but when she does she only uses eyeliner that is not liquid.

What I would suggest to do is take 10 bux and head to wal-mart or k-mart and buy a few wet and wild shades to experiment and see what you like best. Once you have found your desired shades/effects, than invest in more expensive make-up.

    Have fun and good luck!
Pinks work well with pale skin and eyeliner depends on the size of your eyes, the more eyeliner the smaller your eyes appear.

Also a cool tip is to try the smokey affect, but try it ahead of time to se the results before hand.

To do this, Get three shades of any color (blowns/blacks work best though) and apply the dark eyeshadow half way up the eyelid, a medium shadow for the rest of the eyelid and a light shadow up to the eyebrow. it ususally turns out really cute. And again if you have smaller eyes you more of the ligher colors
Use green or blue eyeshadow, and brown eyeliner pencil/liquid. (I suggest liquid)

What is good to help keep eyeshadow on oil eyelids?

i have oily eyelids so if i don't use anything my make up ends up coming off after a couple of hours...or it won't look very good. i have used lemon aid by benefit and the MAC paints, which are pretty good products, but i'm looking for something else. i heard that if you use like a cream base, sometimes it can crease or make the oily-ness even worse because it's kind of oily already. i have also read that some people use powder, etc...but i don't think that will work very well for me.

has anyone ever tried FY-eye by benefit? how was it for you? anything else anyone can suggest? What is good to help keep eyeshadow on oil eyelids?
I have oily eyelids, too! Liquid eyeshadows are not good for me. I use Clinique's touch base on my eyelids before putting any makeup on. Since my skin coloring is light, I use it in the color canvas. They also have other colors and some are better for certain colors of eye makeup. You can buy it at a department store or go here to look at it:

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

ONe more thing...make sure that you use waterproof mascara! If not, your mascara will come off when you blink. What is good to help keep eyeshadow on oil eyelids?
    water proof eyeshadow
A powder shadow will be better than a cream shadow.

But if you prefer a cream shadow, mix it with a little bit of powder shadow in the same shade.

This will keep it from creasing quickly.

You may also want to prep the area with a mattifying foundation or concealer, so your natural oils do not smudge your color.
Use Primer. MAC has an eyeshadow primer called prep and prime. It allows the shadow to stay on longer and not cause any creases.
I have oily lids too! I found what works to keep the shadows and eye stuff on my lid is to cover my lid with to right under the brow with a lil conceilor then pat it with a smidge of powder using a large fluffy powder brush. Then I would either use Shelaq by Benefit with my makeup while applying it or apply the makeup then patting a bit of the Shelaq on top to keep it sealed. I found the makeup wont budge at all this way =). No more raccoon eyes! Shelaq comes with some neato tools too so u can apply the stuff over your mascara too!

What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?

I like experimenting with colors. I try maybelline but they just seem to fade away and it is dull. What are some that are exciting but are nice. What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?
You want eye shadows that have lots of pigments in them. Most of the time, this means purchasing more expensive brands, but if you find the right color, it's well worth it! I'm a huge fan of MAC because of the range of colors and textures. If you go into a MAC boutique or counter, the sales representatives there are extremely knowledgable. I've never had a bad makeup session there. Plus, the makeup lesson is free.

Another great brand is Stila. Jeanne Lobell, the creator or the brand, knows her stuff. She frequently has palettes out that have impeccable colors. Stila is more expensive than MAC, but the shades are softer and the textures are very nice too. Hope this helps! What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?
if you have the bucks.......i like christian dior and borghese. if you are on a budget go for revlon or next L'oreal.
I've always been a huge fan of Cookie Puss eyeshadow/eye dust. They are loose glittery powders which can be used as body makeup as well. I've found them to be fairly long lasting (throughout the day), intensely vibrant in color, and really awesome when you need to sparkle. =)

If those are too disco for you, I also recommend Urban Decay, Girlactik, Sugar, Too Faced, Hard Candy, Manic Panic, and Pixi. They all make some killer eyeshadow combinations, and Sephora sells a great sealer for eye makeup, so you don't have to worry about spending precious time re-applying makeup.
Try Cover Girl Shadow Squeeze eyeshadow. I've tried it on my model [on their site], and it's more precise then any other eyeshadow CG's made.
    Avon
it is good u experiment and not stick to boring stereotyped colours..i like eye shadow by christian dior.loeal is value for money..coz christian dior is a lil expensive..but it gives ur eyes the ultimate definition..get urself twin complementing shades..they come in a two tone pack.
cover girl, love the way the shades blend.
    maybelline
    covergirl

or the new loreal paris color remixed

they have crazy color combos and they flatter every skin tone
H.I.P (the ones in the comercails with Tyra Banks) they are bright, and fun to play with. i adore the colors. i mean, who wouldnt' stand out with purple and oarnge makeup!!
Clinique! It has awesome bright colors and toned colors
Avon has a nice line of eye shadows. Try them. clinique is good, but expensive.
well loreal, color workshop, and M.A.C. are good
Humidity causes many cosmetics to congeal; thus, shadow creases and gathers in tiny lines (most annoying and unattractive for older women). however oily skin may become even more of a challenge, as cosmetics slip off more easily.

I'm surprised at how few shadow bases are offered in comparison to the overabundance of other cosmetics. Ultima II's Fade Not, Crease Not (about $7.00 at many J.C. Penney and CVS stores or online at drugstore.com) will keep your color smooth and intact long after you've wilted. L'Oreal's new De-Crease (a small tube with a wand-also approximately $7.00 or less, available locally) functions beautifully as well. I've actually used a tiny bit as a long-lasting concealer on blemishes, with great results. Caution: Avoid use under eyes, as the ingredients may prove too harsh for the sensitive tissue here. Both come in cr猫me form; apply over entire lid up to your brow and wait a few minutes to set; when completely dry, follow with makeup.

Although cream eyeshadows are popular, select powder ones for extended wear. When facing especially long hours at work or in the sun, opt for subtle, neutral shades (taupe, eggplant, grey), as fading is less obvious. If you like the luster of a cream, start with powder shadow and then dab a bit of cream under your browbone and above your pupil for a wide-awake, sexy look.
the loreal H.I.P. high intensity pigments.
mary kay they are expensive. but last a long time
    cover girl
I like maybelline and Mary Kay too.
ill have to go with katylynn339 mary-kay has the best colors im 12yo id i use it all of the time i have 15 different shades my favorite is cotton candy
My fave is Avon too. Tons of colors to choose from, cheap, and they last all day!!!
MAC pigments are excellent, they give a really intense colour. Also try Clinique and L'oreal.
I like Almay. It's hypoallergenic and has nice colors.
MAC is theatre makeup so it will stay on and they have fun colors
Maybelline has a great selection, but for real lasting colors, try a few by MAC. They also give free samples at their stores within the mall, and so far, its the only brand my girlfriend will buy!
Flirt! @ Kohl's is really good. I wouldn't recommend Estee Lauder. It does the same fading thing. I also enjoy using eye makeup from Victoria's secret. They have a lot of great colors that are very vibrant.

What is the sexiest color of eyeshadow to wear?

My anniversary is coming up on the 10th, and I'm getting out of the house. Yay! I want to get all prettied up! lol! I have never really worn eyeshadow, so I don't know which shade to wear. I have green eyes, sometimes they look a little blueish. Any suggesstions? I might even get a little crazy and do them like carmen electra's! lol So, I'll take any tips! Thanks to everyone in advance! What is the sexiest color of eyeshadow to wear?
You have the same eye colour as me :) what looks best is brown - for a smokey eyed look, that's sexy. If you go to boots and buy eyeshadow some of them will come in sets of 3 shades. Lightest shade goes all over your eye up to your eyebrow, the middle shade enhances the eye socket, and the darker shade adds a bit of depth. Little bit of eyeliner and mascara and that will be you :) Hope this has helped, have a great anniversary! :) What is the sexiest color of eyeshadow to wear?

Am I doing something wrong? How do I keep my eyeshadow and eyeliner from fading?
forget all that powder/concealer crap...use a primer! I use the cream colour base in Luna frost by MAC...but MAC is expensive and you can find a good primer that is cheaper at the drugstore. How do I keep my eyeshadow and eyeliner from fading?
that's one trick, but as an artist, I like to use a product like Urban Decay's Primer Potion:

    ';Packaged in a precious, genie-like bottle, Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an ultra-sheer, totally nude eye base that glides on with the wave of a wand and then disappears instantly. It's the ultimate eye prep for smoother, longer-lasting, crease-proof eye shadow.';

it's awesome, and I love it.
dont brother putting all the concealer and stuff... it doesnt work. Use a proper primer like Urban decay primer. Its cheaper and works the best.

How can I keep my eyeshadow from creasing?

I've tried just about every trick that I've heard of and nothing works. And it's so annoying to have to keep reapplying eyeshadow every hour not to mention inconvenient. Any ideas, tips, tricks, or even changing brands of shadow, just any suggestion would be a HUGE help. Thank you!How can I keep my eyeshadow from creasing?
Well, my first suggestion is not to use cream eyeshadow, if that's what you're using. cream eyeshadow creases much more than powder. Another tip is not to rub your eyes or apply eyeshadow with the tip of your finger, because the oil from your hands gets on your lids and can cause creasing. The best way to apply is with a brush, because you can build up thin layers, and these thin layers are less likely to crease than one thick layer put on with a sponge wand. If you use an oily makeup remover at the end of the day, there my be some residual oil on your lids, so you might want to switch to a non-oily kind. You might try putting some face powder under your eye makeup as a base, as well. As for brands, I've found that Avon eyeshadow is very good, as is (surprisingly!) Jane. Jane eyeshadow is for teens, I know, but it's of shockingly high quality. I hope this helps! How can I keep my eyeshadow from creasing?
if you're using cream shadow, switch to a powder.
Use concealer on your eye lid or use liquid eye shadow or roll on
Primer will help; however, all eyeshadow eventually creases. Of all the eyeshadow brands I have used Rimmel seems to last the longest before creasing. I know some women put regular face powder on their eyelids and under their eyes before applying shadow...but you know what...it makes them look 10 years older because the face powder magnifies every single line around their eyes 10 times. Yuck!
It seems that alot of people are saying primer, but really even if it works for a while in the long run you're just putting more stuff on your eyes. It will work though. If you don't want to use primer I would suggest wearing a different brand of makeup. I use Bare Minerals which is all natural products. It feels really light weight and it doesn't crease...ever! Bare Minerals also won't spear and is waterproof. They have eye shadow, eye glimmers, liner, mascara, lip gloss/stick/stain, foundations, and so much more! I really recommend them; they are the only makeup company that I've used and I'm extremely happy with them.
I second the Mary Kay suggestion. It's called Triple Action Eye Enhancer. I use it whenever I wear eyeshadow and I have very oily eye lids. It works well! Only thing I've found to keep my color from creasing. But I'm sure other things work. Try sephora.com also.
i know i had that same problem. i wish i knew the tricks you tried, so i wouldnt tell you one you already hurd, i know tons. Contact me: Azn_senorita_4_ever@yahoo.com
I suggest buying an eyeshadow that can be used wet or dry and by using it wet to apply with a good brush I have found that it stays in place very well
Mary Kay has a eye primer that prevents that from happining.
Try using an Eye Primer. Mary Kay has a really good one.
try an eyeshadow base. lancome has a great one. it's called something ';aqua';... in ';nude.'; it is AMAZING. i swear, i've slept w/my eyeshadow on before %26amp; it looks the same in the morning. perhaps a little fainter or duller, but NEVER creased!
    hmmmm
TRY an eyeshaodw primer. here are some good ones that willl make ut eyeshadow look gorgeous all day!, it wull stay on through seat and tears and itching eyes here are some tested by me rally good primers!

i have extremely oily eylids adn these primers keep my eyeshaopdw on ALL day!

    1.F.Y....EYE by benefit

    2.mac eye primer

    3. urben decay eye primer potion
Use base powder on your eyelids FIRST before applying your eyeshadow. The powder helps absorb the body's natural skin oils which in turn creates those nasty creases in your eyemakeup!
Try using BeneFit f.y eye. Make all that primping count with the staying power of f.y...eye, the ultimate eye shadow base. No more creasy eye shadows. No more eye shadows that start off here and end up there. This melon-colored cream may be as soft as velvet, but it鈥檚 hard on makeup meltdown.
use a base before applying the eyeshadow and then primer.
It all depends on what kind of eyeshadow you wear. I would suggest not using cream eyeshadow. Use powder. And only apply it just above you lash line.
Have you tried a primer? Primers are silicone-based and help makeup to go on smoothly and last a long time.

You may also try building your eye colour. Instead of applying one thick layer, build thin, soft layers of colour until you get the intensity you want. HTH.

How to I avoid my eyeshadow from creasing?

I've tried everything from loose powder to an eyeshadow base and yet about 4 or 5 hours into wearing eyeshadow, it begins to crease on me. Any suggestions? How to I avoid my eyeshadow from creasing?
My little secret... forgo the fancy primers. The best solution is to dab a little bit of concelar on your lids before you put on the eyeshadow. It'll help keep your eyeshadow to stay put. I hope this helps :o)How to I avoid my eyeshadow from creasing?
the concelar really really works!! Report Abuse

Mmmm, seems like you have tried everything, don't put any lotion on your eyes either. There are anti-crease eyeshadows out there perhaps you should try one of those. Lancome and Estee Lauder have them and so does Clinique.
You might need to prep your face better... Try MAC products. Start with a Dime size portion of their Green Gel Cleanser... wash you face, then let it dry and apply MAC's oil moisture control lotion. Then use their eye cover foundation first and finally use their Studio Fix over your entire face...includiing eye lids. Use a good brush when applying the Studio Fix foundation. Be sure to use a good sponge when applying the eye cover foundation.

    That should do it.
Have you tried eye primer? That usually works for my eyeshadow.
base, is that the same as cream eyeshadow? The cream eyeshadow from Revlon is the first that I've bought that hasn't creased.
    permanent make up rocks!
Eye Primer... Mary Kay has some I swear the stuff never runs out! Awesome stuff!
Well first use a toner to get rid of extra oils ... then an eye shadow primer. Are you using cheap eye shawdows cuz they tend to crease easily
Try Fixing it with a spray, as finer mist as possible, of Evian.

It used 2 work 4 me.
If you have oily skin, you are sunk. Soon after you wash your face in the morning, the oil production starts and there is nothing you can do about it. There are products that say they work for that, but I have oily skin and the skin above my eyes hangs a little over the lids, so I cannot keep eye shadow on for more than an hour, so I don't even bother.

Try using light colored eyeliner pencils and line under the bottom eyelashes. That will open up your eyes and give you some color. Be sure to smudge it across -- no hard lines.
You may want to try a higher quality makeup. Arbonne is wonderful stuff, and it may help with the problem your having, unfortunately you can't buy it in department stores you have to buy from a catalog but it's not that expensive, if you become a member you get 35% off all products, go to Arbonne.com and check it out.
clearly u do not have agood make, the best thinf to do is this i do it and it works a treat, if u wear fundation put a slight bit of powder on to of your eyelids adn then apply the eyeshadow then it will be dry adn no crease
    Tape your eyelids open.
dont put too much on. I have found that REvlon has the best eye makeup I forget what it is called but it is quite shimmery and more creamy than powdery.
    Use primer!!!
Try a more liquid based eyeshadow. This will prevent it from creasing too much or try appling your eyeshadow with a brush. This should help to give a smooth finish which prevents cracks. Good luck!!
Don't use metallic eyeshadow...and use your foundation or coverup on your eyelids and let it dry before putting eyeshadow on. That should help.
There is one miracle product - and it is a miracle that will make your eyeshadow stay put, and it will not crease, it will not even leave your face for the whole day.

This is Urban Decay's Primer Potion - use before eyeshadow and it will stay no matter what.

Other alternatives is to use cream then powder on top.

Mac Paints are a excellent base - esp in Bare Canvas or Unititled.

Use these neutral toned creams, then apply eyeshadow on top.

    Seriously, nothing works better.
    dont put it on
well you can try using baby powder first as a base before you put on your regular eyeshadow or you can use what i i use... urban decays eye shadow potion primer....i totally rocks!!! its like a cream put its sole purpose is to prevent creasing...it's not about how expensive your eyeshadow is b/c most eye shadows throughout the day wear out and crease...so buy urban decay!!
yeah stop caking it on....don't put some much on. Make-up is suppose to enhance your features not cover them up. Learn how to put it on.

What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?

I have white, light, tinyyyy bit tanned skin..

Along with dark/hazel eyes and dark brown hair with highlights.

I'm looking for shades of eyeshadow that would work really well for me.

    Also, what kind of lipshades?

I don't want anything too dark or light, because I only use a little bit of makeup. But I've heard anything from blue to browns. I personally like the way brown looks on my eyes.

Is there a site or something that can help? :) cheers! What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?
I'd stick with natural tones. ESPECIALLY brown, a middle or darker shade of brown though to make your eyes appear even lighter than they are. Also, if you dont mind eye-liner, I'd try a very thin line of it on your eye lid, obviously close to your eyelashes, instead of where we normally wear it. That also, will make your eyes appear lighter, try a little bit of blush to make your cheek bones appear higher, and probably a clear lip gloss, unless you have thin lips, use lip liner. Basically the key is to just enhance what you already have by using very little of each thing :)What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?
i think red n brown degree ll be look nice 4 ur eyeshadow

enjoy i hope it ll help
    hui
Purple would look SOOOOO good on you.

and lighter shades of blue, but mainly purple and pink
Don't use purples! I have brown eyes..and even though I use just about every shade.. purple isn't the strongest color.. browns.. greens.. blues..golds..mostly earth tones look great especially if you're looking for something natural.. Go to the website I provided..you can uplaod your own pic..and try out different make up.. to be honest its not the shades you use but how you use them..

    http://www.maybelline.com/makeupstudio/u鈥?/a>
Dark/brown eyes usually look good with all eyeshadow colors, but especially purple and blue shades. If your eyes are hazel and they have gold in them, use bronze/gold colored eyeshadows. If they're green use greenish brown or greenish gold colors. For lipshades, I guess it depends on your skin's undertones. You didn't mention them, but since you say you're slightly tanned then maybe you have peachy/apricot undertones or olive maybe. In that case try light pink colors with a little bit of gold in them (not frosty colors though) or perhaps some nude colors.
A calm pink or purple avoid browns and yellows(yuuuuk):)
Purple shades in eyeshadows suit brown eyes
I have hazel eyes and dark hair. My skin is tanned depending if it's summer or not. Blue would NOT be a top choice for your eyecolor. Purples are great, and there are so many different shades of them. Maybe try a plum.

If you only use a little bit of makeup I'd do the following. Vanilla color shadow under your browbone, purple on your lids and a pink in the crease. little bit of liner and some black mascara. As for lips a color like ';French Toast'; by Covergirl with a super light pink gloss overtop. That way lips are natrualish with some color, eyes have some punch, and it's still not heavy makeup.

BTW, if you do want to go bold and try a blue, I find navy and an aquaish blue work best ;) There's a duo by Dior cosmetics that I have with it and whenever I wear it I get compliments on my eyes.
Are we talking more green or blue or brown in the eyes? Purpleish eggplants work great on green/gold tinted eyes. Lipsticks, well I love reds and I really love Revlon's deeply chili and go chili and Benefit's liar lips.
Earth tones, Browns, tans, Greens - the green will bring the Hazel in your eyes come out - Pop saus peopl say.
pink eyeshadow or light cream goes good with brown eyes and a light lip color or lip gloss to give it some shine
really it doesn't matter anyshade looks good. Some people are a lil picky though. You can go with anything.
You're in luck. Almay happens to carry eye palettes for specific eye color to help play them up. (see the link below for hazel eyes. If you're eyes are really brown, they have a palette for them as well.) They also have a questiannaire to guide you for chosing other makeups as well (link also below).

    Good luck!
Either a Light Purple or Pink, I usually use a light cocco color on top of the light colors. It brings out your eyes and your tan
purple and light pinks work real well with brown hair and hazel eyes
We are twins! I have the same eye, hair and skin coloring as you.

How do you make eyeshadow pallets and how do you make your own eyeshadow?

ive always wanted to do that but idk howand i need to use stuff from home! How do you make eyeshadow pallets and how do you make your own eyeshadow?
    Step1

Use a mini-grinder or plastic bag to mix the different colored micas together. In order to blend the mineral evenly, it's best to use a grinder. Grinders can be purchased at mineral makeup stores. Mix silvers or golds with a primary color like purple and blue.

    Step2

Experiment by grinding up many different shades of mica and mixing small amounts together. Mix small amounts so you don't waste your minerals on testers. Once you find the shades you like, grind larger amounts so you can make pressed eyeshadow out of them.

    Step3

Pour the ground minerals into a bowl after they have been mixed evenly. Before pouring, look for any streaks of color. If there are streaks, you should mix the minerals better.

    Step4

Spray a powder binder on the minerals that are in the bowl. This will make it easier for the minerals to stick together, which will help them stay on your eyelid when you apply them.

    Step5

Scoop the minerals out of the bowl and put them in an eyeshadow container. Use a spoon to pack the minerals down into the eyeshadow containers. Take a toothpick and carve a simple design or your initials into the minerals. Allow the minerals to dry thoroughly before using them.

How do I get my eyeshadow to say put throughout the day?

I use oil free foundation as a primer on my eyelids, and I use high quality eye shadow like Dior. I'm great at makeup, but this is one thing I just can't seem to master. Any tips or tricks? How do I get my eyeshadow to say put throughout the day?
Urban Decay Primer Potion is the answer. I've tried everything, and nothing compares to it. I wore it under my eyeshadow one day when I went to a funeral, and after crying for hours every single bit of my makeup was gone except for my eyeshadow, which was still perfect and looked freshly applied. You can buy it at Ulta or Sephora, and it costs $16.00. It's worth every penny. Here is a link.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>How do I get my eyeshadow to say put throughout the day?
God i don't know why that Punk Love mac girl is having such an attitude!! All you need is an eye shadow base. Loreal has one for around $7 if your concerned about price but if not Urban decay eye shadow primer is the best ever($16). It makes eye shadow last all day even when it gets wet. They have it at sephora and ulta or online. Good luck
I put foundation on my eyelids, then i use a base shadow, which is a liquid eyeshadow, which you cover entirely with the eyeshadow you are planning to use. It stays in place, and the colour also comes out more intense.

    good luck, xo.
Try Urban Decay's Primer Potion and its only $16. It works so good and heres the link at Sephora: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>

How do I make black eyeshadow actually go on black instead of a gray color?

It seems like everytime I put on black eyeshadow to do a smokey look, it doesn't go on black- it goes on like a dark gray color. I use foundation under it as a sort of primer yet it still isn't anywhere near dark enough. How do I make black eyeshadow actually go on black instead of a gray color?
well first try using a real/better primer everyone loves primer potion but if that's not your thing you can try shadow insurance or a paint pot or something cheaper next change to a better brand of eyeshadow-one that has better quality therefor better pigmentation. nyx actually has a very pigmented matte black eyeshadow :) you could also try foiling wwhich is applying it ';wet'; which is spritzing the product with a mixing medium or something such as fix+ (mac) :)How do I make black eyeshadow actually go on black instead of a gray color?
Getting an eyeshadow base like Urban Decay Primer Potion (Also known as UDPP) makes eyeshadow colors bolder, as well as longer lasting and a lot less likely to crease. Also, making it wet (paste like) will make any makeup color last longer. You can use water, something that's meant for getting eyeshadow's wet, or even Visine. (I use Visine.)

If you decide to go with using eyeshadow, make sure you don't put the liquid onto the eyeshadow, instead use a couple of drops and then wet your brush, you want it almost a pasty consistency.
you most likely didnt get a good color eyeshadow..

how ever.. i would recommend putting a primer on first and then use a wet brush to apply it often goes on darker...

i have black eye shadow from sephora which was bare essentials brand i believe and its the DEAL... i would totally recommend..

also i like the stuff on elf (eyes lips face). because like almosteverything is $1... instead of the above mentioned $17 eye shadow
I had exactly the same problem until I bought Yves St Laurent eye shadow. It's black, without shimmer. I put a primer first, a real one (Benefit): it stays all day long and it's perfect. The only problem is the price, it's expensive but for me it's worth it. If you use cheap eye shadow it won't stay and turn gray.
try to buy a black eyeshadow alone... put a light base or rather put black eyeshadow directly on your eyelid and try to blend it...
You need a good eyeshadow with very good pigmentation and using a good eye primer instead of foundation will help.

How do you tell if eyeshadow is pigmented ?

I just looked through all my old makeup and found heaps of eye shadows, but i don't know how to tell if they're pigmented. How do you tell if eyeshadow is pigmented ?
If you put it on the back of your hand and it's light, then it is not very pigmented. Don't worry though, if it's not highly pigmented you can use eyeshadow primer like urban decay or too faced (get samples because they are like $17 and up) and put it on before you put on the eyeshadow and the color will be more pigmented. How do you tell if eyeshadow is pigmented ?
For that other girl that answered telling you that any eyeshadow that has color is pigmented, that is a big fat lie.

I have some eyeshadow from claires and they are not pigmented at all, even though they are really weird colors like purple and blue and green.

You can tell if your eyeshadow is pigmented by putting your finger in it, moving it around a bit and placing it on your hand, the outside of it.

    of on your wrist.

If the color actually shows up, this means that it is pigments, if the color doesn't show up, it means that it isn't pigmented.

    Hope I helped:D
eyeshadow with color is pigmented. mac cosmetics have a high intensity pigment, which means that you dont need a lot for it to show up. in fact, they actually have pigments that are loose powder at a high intensity. so if they show up, they are pigmented.
it wasnt a big fat lie when she said that if it has color its pigmented. anything with color has pigment=fact. extremely pigmented has a better color pay off than eyeshadow with a less pigmented color.

How do I keep my eyeshadow from wearing off so quickly?

Should i use a powder like eyeshadow or creamy eyeshadow? I just don't know. How do I keep my eyeshadow from wearing off so quickly?
Use an eyeshadow base (mary kay sells one, also try Sephora). Or use a creamy eyeshadow underneath powder eyeshadow.

A bit of foundation also works. Helps it stick. How do I keep my eyeshadow from wearing off so quickly?
wash your face before you put on lotion/makeup with warm water to open your pores

then apply lotion, and an extra layer to your eye lids

then... apply foundation, once again, an extra *thin* layer to your eyelids

then apply the creamy eyeshadow base *they sell them for about $5 at convienient stores*

then apply whatever creamy eye shadow you want and it WILL stay all day...
Eyeshadow primer does work very well to make shadow last longer, but one shadow I have found that I do not need to wear a primer with and it still lasts all day is Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow. It comes with four colors, has nice shades, and has two different kinds of applicators (one has a very narrow tip which I use with the darkest shadow to put on as a liner when I don't use my black liner - it's a nice daytime look). I absolutely love the wine-colored palette. Hope this helps.
I apply foundation before I put on eye shadow and that usually does the trick!
petroleum jelly works well acting as a base for your eyeshadow. i needed to attend a wedding before and had my makeup done, the artist applied petroleum jelly to my eyelids before the eyeshadow, it stayed on all day. the wedding was a whole day thing and i still got my eyeshadow at night.
Take a small amount (half a pea size) of a non oily lotion as a primer. Blend it on your lids until it's absorbed. Then apply a powder eyeshadow over it and it will last until you wash it off.
Lightly apply base to your eyelids before applying eyeshadow. It gives the shadow something to stick to and it will last longer and prevent creasing. I've found that powder shadows last longer than creamy, but I think it depends on what brand you go with.
buy shelaq from benefit. or just apply more throughout the day.

    Am I doing something wrong?

And also, how do you use eyelash curlers, without burning my eyelashed...

    =]

Thanks xHow can I apply shimmery eyeshadow properly WITHOUT looking like a drag queen?
Apply less to the bottom portion of your eyelid. Dont take it all the way to the top of the eyelid because that's too much! Put a color there that matches your eye lid color. Also adding shimmery colors just to the corners of the eye is SeXy too :O)How can I apply shimmery eyeshadow properly WITHOUT looking like a drag queen?
just put it on your eyelid dont put it up to your eyebrows
Try using a sheen product instead of a real shimmer. And make sure it is in a shade that complements your skin tone like a champagne or a light gold. But it right under your brow bone and blend it down into the other colors. Blend, blend, blend.
go to ';you tube'; and type in ';how to apply shimmery eye shadow'; its actually really easy.. never put it above where the eye crease is.. only where the eyeball lays ..and move with the shape of your eyes.. play with your makeup a bit its fun and u will be surprised u will look good!
You're actually using shimmery eyeshadow, not glittery, right?

Maybe if you try something close to your skin tone, it won't end up looking that way. You sound like you're doing everything right, though.

You don't have to buy the eyelash curlers that heat up. There are just plain, metal and plastic ones. Just make sure you use it for a few seconds and BEFORE you apply mascara.

    Good luck.
are you putting the eyeshadow all the way up to your brows?

just put a little on the lid above your lashes.

and if that doesnt work, maybe shimmer eyeshadow just isnt your thing. try a matte shadow without shimmer, its a much more grown up look anyways.

or.. try putting the shimmer just in the corners of your eyes to give it a little bit of shine but not overwhelming.

and try an eyelash curler that doesnt heat up. the plain metal ones work really well.
put it along the edge of ur eye like where the eye lashes are and in the courner of ur eye, less is more!

it's all about a soft, thin brush that you can draw a clear line with, and good blending into the foundation. and the right color ;-)

try to apply light colors under your eye, like a light pink or rose tone, and when you think it looks perfect, then go for some darker shadows.

and ask your Mom or a friend if it really looks so terrible - I learnt that I'm far more critical concerning my looks than they are ;-)How do you trace eyeshadow under your eyes without looking like a raccoon?
try and use black eyeshadow with an eyeliner brush, it doesnt look as hard as black pencil. u can always use different color eye shadow as well, like maybe a brown so it doesnt look as harsh. u find find the brush as MAC, good luck ! :)

Getting a little fallout from your eyeshadow is inevitable a lot of the time, but there are little tricks to make sure the smallest amount possible ends up under your eyes. Try patting the eyeshadow on with the brush rather than sweeping it on. Also, make sure you tap off the excess shadow on your brush before you begin applying.

It also helps to do your eye makeup before you do anything else. That way any fallout can be washed off or covered by your concealer and foundation. That's the easiest thing to do if you're in a rush and don't want to be extra careful about the way you apply your eyeshadow.

    Hope I helped. :)
The reason that's happening is because there is excess shadow on the brush.

So when you apply shadow tap the brush against the container so it will fall off. Then when you put it on your eye lid, press the brush to your lid instead of sweeping it acrossed.

This will apply the shadow more bold and keep it from getting all over your cheeks.
    Hi,

I know it sucks when that happens. Here's how I keep mine on my lids: First, get Vaseline or chap stick. Rub a little bit on your eye lids, then apply your eyeshadow. That's what I do and it doesn't fall off anymore. :) Hope this helps your eyeshadow issue!

    ~MakeUpChick
Press the shadow onto to the cap if it's a pigment, if not, tapp the eccess off the brush, and press it onto the area you want to cover, don't wipe or sweep it, this will cause fallout, and a less even coating.

    Good Luck. x
A lot of cosmetics companies (MAC included) make ';eye primer'; that you apply to your eyelids before putting on makeup. It helps your eye makeup stick so that it doesn't fall off or smudge as much.
Lean on a tissue while you put it on or put some extra powder on your cheeks ten just brush it off along with the eyeshadow when you're finished.

What color eyeliner and eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?

I have blonde hair blue eyes and light skin. I cant figure out which color eyeshadow is the best. Please help! What color eyeliner and eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?
light blue, natural colors, and soft pink go good with your complection but if you want to expirement hands on, go to the make-up department of any store and ask them to try different ones so you can see for yourself. The best part is it's free! What color eyeliner and eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes?
i had the same prob last year my choises would be gold, oranges, light browns, subtle earthy tones, but apply them heavy and medium brown eyeliner.

trust me blue eyeshadow and eyeliner are way to much!

    overkill !
i also have blue eyes, blonde hair, and fair skin...i usually use brown and charcoal colored eyeliner because black is to dark...i also use brown-black mascera because just black looks to heavy on my eyes. for eyeshadow, i use earthy tones, like tan and light brown, and i usually use the lightest shade of bronzer just to make my skin sparkle and glow a little. hope this helps some!
bronze eyeliner, black mascara, and coppery, peachy, gold, and glimmery brown shadows work best for my blue eyes.
Definitly natural colors or earthy tones, and black or really dark brown eyeliner (:
Black eye liner and blue or like light blue eye shadow!
Go with light eyeshadows like light light purples, blues, greens. And as more eyeliner, if your feeling bold i recommend black. But if you want to match with the eyeshadows above try light brown or a dark blue.
Gold, brown, earth tones, or pastels.
Browns are the best for bringing out blue eyes. Everything from a shimmery taupe to a true chocolate will be stunning with your blue eyes and really make them ';pop';! A dark brown eyeliner would look great but I would stay away from black because it can be too harsh with blonde hair and light skin. Don't be afraid to experiment! Some colors might surprise you, and it's all in the application!
your pretty pale so i would recommend go very light. Maybe pastels or very light browns or greens. Just no black eyeliner or real dark eye shadow.
black eyeliner and like blues or earthy tones will bring out your eyes.
if u have really light skin eyeliner will not look very good...

How do you keep eyeshadow with glitter on your eyelids and the glitter off your cheeks?

I love some of the eyeshadows out today - Kat VonD especially at Sephora - but an hour later the glitter is everywhere but on my eyelids... I use a eyeshadow primer too... What can I do?How do you keep eyeshadow with glitter on your eyelids and the glitter off your cheeks?
I am a makeup artist and I work for Mac.

Unfortunately, a lot of glittery shadows have this problem. Your best bet is to stay away from glitter. But if you really want to be able to wear the ones you have, try these tips:

    - Always wear an eyeshadow primer, such as Mac Paint Pots or Urban Decay's 24/7, as this will help adhere to shadow to the lid.

    - Try using a mixing medium. Glycerin can be purchased at your local drugstore (ask a worker if they have it). Mac makes mixing mediums, but they can only be purchase at Mac Pro. Mix a tiny drop with your shadow, and it instantly becomes more of a creamy texture versus dry and flaky. This is how Mac artists get loose glitter and pigments to stay put.

    - Another trick Mac artist use is using a eyeliner pencil in a similar color, applying it all over the lid (or wherever you want your eyeshadow to be) and then applying the shadow on top. It will give the color and extra punch, and the glitter will stick to the creamy pencil texture. This will also help you use less product which means less fallout.

    - Moisturize your eyelids. I know it sounds dumb, but if your eyelids are dry, even with primer, the shadows will flake off.

    - Do you eyes FIRST. I have a similar problem, and what I do in the morning is apply all the upper eye makeup first, such as primer, eyeshadow, liner, etc. Blink really fast a few times. Wipe any fallout from under your eyes with a makeup removing towelette. Apply concealer to the under eye area, and if you need to apply any shadows or liner on the lower lids, do it now. Sweep a clean brush under the eyes to wipe away any additional fallout, then continue with your face primer, foundation, finishing powder, etc.

Hope this helps! :)How do you keep eyeshadow with glitter on your eyelids and the glitter off your cheeks?
put A LOT of loose powder under your eyes. It will catch all the loose stuff.

  • What is a good eyeshadow that is glittery but not too expensive?

I like eyeshadow that sparkles and that is kind of glittery. I haven't been able to find that many good ones and am wondering if anyone knows of any that are pretty good. I like purples, greens, pinks. Also, I used to have glittery eyeliner but I don't remember what kind it was but it was really cute also. Any suggestions? Thanks! What is a good eyeshadow that is glittery but not too expensive?
    Bourjois eyeshadows :D

Bourjois has this new liquid eye shadow, it's really glittery and lasts for a long time. Rimmel may have some, aswell as Barry M. What is a good eyeshadow that is glittery but not too expensive?
Maybelline dream mousse shadow, is great!!! i just love it, im just like you. It's a cream and easy to put on. and it looks really pretty on. it comes in many colors too, for like 5 buckss =)
pourjois shadows are wonderful glittery and cheap

How do i apply eyeshadow so it makes a difference to my face?

I have eyes that are sometimes green and sometimes blue (people have said both) and i use eyeshadow for green eyes. Do i apply a darker color to my eyelid and a lighter shade to the skin above it? I've used it before and have put the darker shade on my lid and the lighter shade above it. It hasn't really made any difference. Can someone help? Thanks :)How do i apply eyeshadow so it makes a difference to my face?
i guess when it comes to make up now a days, you can really do however you like, however.. the traditional way that always seems to make a winner would go something like this (you can improvise if you don't have three different shades)

the medium color should go on your lid and also a little above. the darkest in the crease of your eyelid and the lightest as a shimmer/highlight just below the brow... if you'd like to emphasize your eyes a little more, you can do a little on the bottom of the eye lid around the eyelashes and they can give a little sparkle there too.How do i apply eyeshadow so it makes a difference to my face?
First of all, your eyebrows, although most people skip grooming them can make a world of a difference. Get them professionally waxed and then fill them in with an eyeshadow or eyebrow powder three shades lighter than your natural eyebrow color. Next, set them in place with a bit of clear mascara.

Apply a medium shade from lids to creases, and a darker shade right in the crease (where it sinks into your socket) blend it out and up a little bit at the outer corners to get a sexy, cat eye effect. Apply the lightest shadow (off white works great) under your brow bone and on the inner corner. Line your eyes only two thirds of the way in (Lining all the way around your eyes makes them small and closed off) And line your lower lash line with the darkest eyeshadow. Also, try using a white eyeliner on your inner rims and inner tear duct (will brighten up eyes!)

Lastly, do curl your eyelashes and wear mascara, it will make a huge difference.

Here is a neat youtube video on how to make your eyes pop!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peMx4ZW0R鈥?/a>
wat u should do is just pick one good color like a dark blue or any type of of color that u like on u n choose it for eyeshadow n then put eyeliner on ur eyes n make it dark n then add mascara use a good mascara like collaso n it shud make ur eyes pop it works on mine i hoped i helped...:)
none, im a guy to much is whorish, to little makes u look like u dont know what your doing, i say go natural and stop tryin to look like barbie and be yourself, dont wear none
Put the darkest shade on your eyelid AFTER applying eyeliner. Make sure you smudge it alot and add the lightershades about that up to your eyebrow bridge.

    Goodluck :)
You can go on youtube.com and look up some tutorials and experiment different looks on yourself and see what works for you1
purple eyeshadow! That will make ur eyes pop out in color. I have blue/green eyes too (depends on sun) and they make my eyes look awesome%26amp; super pretty!

What is the best eyeshadow color for green eyes and fair skin?

I can't find a proper eyeshadow. I need one that is fairly cheap and easy to find. Thanks! What is the best eyeshadow color for green eyes and fair skin?
I would say some nice darker purples or rich browns. One of my favorite palettes to use for my eyes and skin tone is the smashbox muse palette. The purples and the browns in that palette are good example of colors you should look for. Experiment with different shades and hues and find what you like best and what works for you :)

As far as cheap options would go, I would recommend any of the rimmel or max factor eyeshadows AS LONG as you use a primer on your eyelids (l'oreal makes one for like $6). Without the primer the eyeshadows have very little pigment. Use the primer and those colors will pop.

What is the best eyeshadow colour for brown eyes?

Also please actually suggest a product instead of just saying green or brown or whatever, like suggest something like MAC ';Sable'; or something. What is the best eyeshadow colour for brown eyes?
i have brownish-hazel eyes and i like bringing out the color of my eyes and enhancing them with colors that suit them, rather than just experimenting with any old crazy color that i feel like (although i must say im getting into a habit of experimenting with crazy colors after i bought my first mac liquid glitter eyeliner).

my absolute favourite eyeshadows of all time are mac 'brown script' and mac 'tempting'. 'brown script' is a reddish-brown that gives a nice depth and richness to your eyes and gives them a natural contour. plus its a matte color, so its great for those days where you dont feel like being a glitterbug.

'tempting' is a shimmery gold color and its so popular here in japan that its actually sold out at most mac counters. i had to get a friend from overseas to send me one because id tried for a couple of months to get my hands on it. its the kind of eyeshadow that darkens as you apply more of it, so you can choose to go for a sheer wash of color, or a deeper darker gold. it can be used for any occasion, so its a definite favourite of mine. What is the best eyeshadow colour for brown eyes?
i personally like golden or yellow colors on brown eyes. i would suggest e.l.f. eye shadow, because not only is everything $1, but the quality of the makeup and the brushes is just as good if not better than any high-dollar stuff i've ever tried! right now they're running a special on shipping. if you spend $15 (that's a LOT of makeup!) you pay only $1.98 for shipping. the coupon code to use when you check out is EGSHIPT. this way, you can order several shades and choose for yourself....and will only be out a buck a piece. i know i sound like a pitch woman for e.l.f. but i'm hooked!
The best eyeshadow depends on your preference. Personally I prefer 'Bare Essentials' make-up. I have hazel eyes and I like to wear earth tones. My favorite colors are 'Moss' (a silvery-green color), ';Twig'; (a shimmery brown, good for a base color), and ';Cultured Pearl'; (which is a pinkish-pearl color that I use as a brow highlighter).

For brown eyes, I think a green, pink, purple, or teal color would be really pretty. If you live close to a Sephora store, you could walk in and test out samples from several different make-up brands.
Brown eyed girls are lucky because they can pull off a lot of colours. The best colours include brown (either lighter or darker than your natural eye colour), pink, blue, gold, purple, navy, plum.

Charcoal and smokey effects look great too. As well as black and other bold, dark shades. Browns can experiment with pretty much anything. It's also best to keep blush and lip colour to a minimum.
I don't really know what brand to recommend you, but blue tends to look great with brown eyes. Just make sure you put it on light so that it doesn't overpower your eyes and draw too much attention to the eyeshadow.
I really like this drugstore eyeliner by Annabelle.

It's called Lotus and its a green/turquoise kind of color.

I line my waterline with it and it totally brings out my browns!

Ive got complements on them from time to time ;)

    Hope this helps xoxo

What companies have natural eyeshadow that is good quality and pigmented?

I'm looking for some cosmetic companies that have great natural eyeshadow that is pigmented enough so that you can just use one swipe and it looks like it does in the container. I haven't found anything, though! Any suggestions? What companies have natural eyeshadow that is good quality and pigmented?
TARTE! I love them and they're natural!!!!

    Here's a link...

http://tartecosmetics.com/What companies have natural eyeshadow that is good quality and pigmented?
Depends on what your definition of ';natural'; is, but I guess you could probably try some mineral eyeshadows. They're really pigmented and bright. I have a few from a company called Micabella (they normally have a little kiosk/cart in the mall. Nice pigmentation but a bit pricey) or you could try Bare Minerals eyeshadows. Either way, try a mineral eyeshadow, they're generally pretty nice. Good luck!
    I am a makeup artist.

First off, you need to be more specific...natural?? do you mean natural colors (browns, beiges, taupes, etc) or ORGANIC? Natural would be not wearing makeup at all sweet heart!

If you mean mineral makeup, MAC makes the most pigmented mineral eyeshadows out there right now. They come in a duo, which is more bang for the buck, at $19:

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

However, all of Mac's eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, but not all are minerals.

I don't know of any other companies that are producing vibrant color mineral or organic shadows, but i'm sure there will be more coming soon with this whole organic craze!

    Hope this helps! :)

I have hazel eyes and I LOVEEEEEE using purple :)

if you want a more subtle look use a gold tan colour or brown
    silvers and light browns

    green in crease, silvers above
blue goes really well with green. but you could also try brown, light pink, or beige.
pink, gold, yellow, silver, black, brown, purple and that's about it.
Green will look good, but I just wanted to say that gold looks amazing with hazel/brown eyes.
hazel is on the green side so yes green is a good color but for a more dramatic look try and get a purple or even a color with a red base. browns also look good.
I have hazel eyes. I wear a green eyeliner (sage or olive) a brown contour color and a pink shadow over the whole lid (Clinique bewitched duo)
Um...brown...blue....or a diffrent shade of green
I use a plum purple eyeliner. and a light purple all over my lids, then put dark green in the crease and light green under the brow. and black mascara.

Look at Almay...they have some preselected color combos that are relatively inexpensive.

I think here again you are going to have to play around with it...have a little fun and mix it up some.
    browns, golds, pinks, beige's, white.
yellow definetly goes with green..but explore. see what colors you like best.
K GREEN DOES SUIT WELL FOR HAZEL EYES BUT you also need to pair it with a purple, you'll want to put the green over the eye a lighter green over the lid and a purple {or plum in the crease ALMAY has the perfect duo for hazel eyes, good luck!

How to stop eyeshadow from smudging on to the eyelid above the creas?

I want to wear eyeshadow, but it doesn't last long. i apply it underneath the eyelid crease, but then it smudges onto the part above the crease x.x

any suggestions with what I can do to stop this? How to stop eyeshadow from smudging on to the eyelid above the creas?
    primer.

a primer doesnt have to be urban decay primer potion or too faced eye insurance or something like that. it can be ANY creamy eyeshadow or product. you can even use your liquid/cream concealer as a primer too. i'd recommend you either use your concealer, buy a nude color (for more versatility) or buy one of the products they market as an e/s primer (like the two i first mentioned...out of those i'd recommend the too faced brand. theyre both good but the urban decay bottle is currently flawed and wastes alot of product. altho it IS cute lol)

my favorite thing to use as a primer is MAC's paints %26amp; paint pots. for paints, the nude-st most popular color is bare study. as for paint pots i've got brown skin so i use Groundwork and it suits my skin perfectly. You can also try bare study in the paint pot which is a fairly neutral color. If you can afford it, you can branch out afterwards and buy other colors. I love using my black paintpot for a dark smokey look. a paint/paint pot as a colored base can really change the look of an e/s...so obv that helps with creating diff looks.

always remember to apply your nude primer all the way upto your brows cuz if youre using a highlighter (which i hope you are) that will help that stay on longer. How to stop eyeshadow from smudging on to the eyelid above the creas?
The brand you use also makes a difference. Some are more oily then others, and those will smudge.

Use regular powder on your lids before you apply the shadow, then use a good shadow-no dollar store stuff. : )
The best thing to use and I can guarantee it is an primer. You can get it from basically any big name foundation line like Smashbox, for example.

What color of eyeshadow or make up looks good with blue eyes on 13 year old?

What make up colors would look good on me?What color of eyeshadow or make up looks good with blue eyes on 13 year old?
first of all, i recommend covergirl and maybelline.

Eyeshadow: light purple, a lighter blue (lighter than your eyes), gray [the smokey eye look would be good], pink, brown (it REALLY brings out your eyes)

Mascara: charcoal gray, chocolate brown, blackest black

Eyeliner: brown, gray, black, purple, blue

Lip gloss: a lighter pink for lighter skin and hair, a deeper color for darker skin and hair. from you description of yourself, something in the middle sounds good

any of those should do, just don't do anything overly dramatic or something that will make you look like your trying to hard. you're still young, and enjoy that!

For lipstick you could get some lipglosses in colors like peach, nude, and bronze. Lipsticks in colors like russet/terracotta, bronzes, coral, and maybe a carefully selected pink.
a light pink lipstick/lip gloss if you want it to be subtle. If you want it to stand out, then bright red. eyeshadow-wise, i would try the smoky eye look. I would have to see what you look like to get a better idea but i hope this helps :]

    black/brown mascara

and a carmel or gold eyeshadow

it looks great on light brown eyes

blue would look tacky and be too bright

you could use a shimmery silver or a shimmery nude as a highlight color

    =)
well if your dress is just white, i'd go for white or dark grays. or, you could do what my aunt did for her wedding (she wore a plain white dress)... she used light brown eyeshadows, dark brown eyeliner, brown mascara, and brown lipstick, which sounds like a LOT of brown, but i thought it looked really natural and pretty. :)
i think you should wear a sparkly white, maybe with a tent of silver.on your bottom lid and on the top.then in the crease of your eye just the crease use a dark blue ..not a lot and smudge it where it fills the crease in that will give u a smokky eye. i would try that and see if you like it!
Don't wear eyeshadow, just highlight your brow and go with mascara and maybe some really light eyeliner. Maybe brown eyeliner. Then go with a nude lip and light cheeks. You don't want dramatic on your wedding day; just be very subtle and natural.

    Have a wonderful wedding! %26lt;3
What is the color of the wedding, like the color of the bridesmaids dresses?

    Use that color.
    First off CONGRATS !!!!!

How about a cream colored shimmer shadow. This would look pretty but not draw the attention away from your dress.

    congrats!!!!
Black and blue that way it looks like you were beaten by your fiance. Well we eliminated those 2 colors. How about the color green that would look like ......
Any color goes with white. Why not use the colors that are in your wedding as your eye shadow.
I think you should match your complection, not your dress.
Does it really matter when over 50 percent of marriages end in divorce?
Then use a light brown or something light colored.
    blue or green.
just mascarra maybe some nude shadow, i suggest you get it done proffesionally. congrats babess:)
I'd go with a really really light brown slightly shimmery, natural and elegant but enough
    WHITE
Maybe some silver with a touch of purple. Purple brings out brown eyes.
wear your favorite color :) or try a smokey gray and black look.
you should wear a champaign color, loreal and MAC both have a really pretty one :]
    Wear

    bourjois 08 BEIGE ROSE.

its a very natural color, when the light hits it it give off a light shine
depends on your complexion. You don't want anything over bearing. so if you're paler use pinks etc.
    black/grey/smokey eye

    :]
gray and black smokey eyes look great for weddings
    grey or green
    purple
    light baby blue

Avon has quads on sale for $3.33 (this is about to end soon though), and they are put together based on your eye color or the colors you like to wear.

You can have an Avon Rep run a beauty profile for you (it's free and quick - kinda cool because it gives you a lot of beauty info about yourself!)What are good eyeshadow colors for brown eyes?
i say the best color would be a bronze (SHINNY) here is a link of the eyeshowdow i would wear.........http://www.lancome-usa.com/makeup/eyeshadow/ombre-absolue-duo.htm#anchor001
I would say a plum color or light purple
If any I would use like a pale purple color or pink. I use HIP its like a light pale brown and then a bright pink eyeshadow kit and I put the light brown on my eye lid and then the hot pink I blot lightly on the outside crease of my eyes. Some makeup brands actually have eyeshadow made for brown eyes to make them pop!
Purple, pink and turquoise. Try it :)
    golds or goldish colors
Ask Almay! They've got this cool line of makeup that will make your eye color POP.
