What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?

I like experimenting with colors. I try maybelline but they just seem to fade away and it is dull. What are some that are exciting but are nice. What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?
You want eye shadows that have lots of pigments in them. Most of the time, this means purchasing more expensive brands, but if you find the right color, it's well worth it! I'm a huge fan of MAC because of the range of colors and textures. If you go into a MAC boutique or counter, the sales representatives there are extremely knowledgable. I've never had a bad makeup session there. Plus, the makeup lesson is free.

Another great brand is Stila. Jeanne Lobell, the creator or the brand, knows her stuff. She frequently has palettes out that have impeccable colors. Stila is more expensive than MAC, but the shades are softer and the textures are very nice too. Hope this helps! What is the best brand of eyeshadow makeup?
if you have the bucks.......i like christian dior and borghese. if you are on a budget go for revlon or next L'oreal.
I've always been a huge fan of Cookie Puss eyeshadow/eye dust. They are loose glittery powders which can be used as body makeup as well. I've found them to be fairly long lasting (throughout the day), intensely vibrant in color, and really awesome when you need to sparkle. =)

If those are too disco for you, I also recommend Urban Decay, Girlactik, Sugar, Too Faced, Hard Candy, Manic Panic, and Pixi. They all make some killer eyeshadow combinations, and Sephora sells a great sealer for eye makeup, so you don't have to worry about spending precious time re-applying makeup.
Try Cover Girl Shadow Squeeze eyeshadow. I've tried it on my model [on their site], and it's more precise then any other eyeshadow CG's made.
Avon
it is good u experiment and not stick to boring stereotyped colours..i like eye shadow by christian dior.loeal is value for money..coz christian dior is a lil expensive..but it gives ur eyes the ultimate definition..get urself twin complementing shades..they come in a two tone pack.
cover girl, love the way the shades blend.

or the new loreal paris color remixed

they have crazy color combos and they flatter every skin tone
H.I.P (the ones in the comercails with Tyra Banks) they are bright, and fun to play with. i adore the colors. i mean, who wouldnt' stand out with purple and oarnge makeup!!
Clinique! It has awesome bright colors and toned colors
Avon has a nice line of eye shadows. Try them. clinique is good, but expensive.
well loreal, color workshop, and M.A.C. are good
Humidity causes many cosmetics to congeal; thus, shadow creases and gathers in tiny lines (most annoying and unattractive for older women). however oily skin may become even more of a challenge, as cosmetics slip off more easily.

I'm surprised at how few shadow bases are offered in comparison to the overabundance of other cosmetics. Ultima II's Fade Not, Crease Not (about $7.00 at many J.C. Penney and CVS stores or online at drugstore.com) will keep your color smooth and intact long after you've wilted. L'Oreal's new De-Crease (a small tube with a wand-also approximately $7.00 or less, available locally) functions beautifully as well. I've actually used a tiny bit as a long-lasting concealer on blemishes, with great results. Caution: Avoid use under eyes, as the ingredients may prove too harsh for the sensitive tissue here. Both come in crçŒĞme form; apply over entire lid up to your brow and wait a few minutes to set; when completely dry, follow with makeup.

Although cream eyeshadows are popular, select powder ones for extended wear. When facing especially long hours at work or in the sun, opt for subtle, neutral shades (taupe, eggplant, grey), as fading is less obvious. If you like the luster of a cream, start with powder shadow and then dab a bit of cream under your browbone and above your pupil for a wide-awake, sexy look.
the loreal H.I.P. high intensity pigments.
mary kay they are expensive. but last a long time

I like maybelline and Mary Kay too.
ill have to go with katylynn339 mary-kay has the best colors im 12yo id i use it all of the time i have 15 different shades my favorite is cotton candy
My fave is Avon too. Tons of colors to choose from, cheap, and they last all day!!!
MAC pigments are excellent, they give a really intense colour. Also try Clinique and L'oreal.
I like Almay. It's hypoallergenic and has nice colors.
MAC is theatre makeup so it will stay on and they have fun colors
Maybelline has a great selection, but for real lasting colors, try a few by MAC. They also give free samples at their stores within the mall, and so far, its the only brand my girlfriend will buy!
Flirt! @ Kohl's is really good. I wouldn't recommend Estee Lauder. It does the same fading thing. I also enjoy using eye makeup from Victoria's secret. They have a lot of great colors that are very vibrant.
