Eyeshadow?

I'm going to be a junior in high school. What are the essentials that I need for an average day at school? What are some nice eyeshadow colors for a very dark skin tone. I'm talking like dark brown/chocolate skin tone? lol Thank you very much! =]Eyeshadow?
one of my friends has a very dark skin tone and i think it's gorgeous when she wears a metalic gold eyeshadow. she wears a lot of metallic/shiny eyeshadows. she also has a shiny purple that is really pretty too. but i think the metallic quality makes the colors show up better on dark skin. plus who doesn't like to sparkle a little bit? :)Eyeshadow?
here are some colors that look fabulous on dark skin tones:


-gold


-lavender (try highlighting with silver....use shades of purple on you eyelid and then use a silver shimmer right under your eyebrow....looks very nice)


-green (you can use dark green near your eyelashes and then get lighter as you go up...you can also use a very light gold shimmer ontop of the green so that you can still see green, but there is a goldish shimmer that really makes your eyes noticable)





if you don't want expensive things, then u can get stuff like covergirl and stuff like that....i have some covergirl things and they work really nice...plus if you go to covergirl.com you can get colormatched and they'll give u great ideas for your eyes and skin and stuff


or if you like expensive things....i like the urban decay eye makeup that you can find at sephora


i get my shimmery eyeshadow from macy's and it's bobbi brown....there is one called gold brick shimmer and it has shades of gold....that would be great for you

check out mac cosmetics, they have evey colour you could ever want. gold's and light colours look really good on dark skin!!
You can do the smokey eyes or just put on black eye liner.
I would say that you should go with a plum color. That would also help bring out your eyes. :)
i've always LOVED gold or champagne colored shadows on darker girls. you should go to a MAC stand or Estee Lauder or something and the ladies there will help you pick out a color :) They're usually pretty helpful
Just be you love. Go with your heart. Be as graceful as you can be without the cheap shots for attention that adolescence brings. You will only be a teenager for a little while but a woman all the rest of your life. These times are important for building your lifelong identitiy. And never ever forget what God has in mind for you- Believe me I know!!!

try something purple or green that looks good with your skin and makes your eyes pop...if you want a more natural look try a gold or a champagne color with a highlight on the brow bone
