What color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?

What color of eyeshadow would look best on someone with dark blue eyes, red hair, and and a moderately fair skin tone? Are there any that are light enough to go with whatever colors I'm wearing? What color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?
browns and bronzes buring the day. but dont cover the wholw eye with the same color. the darker shade should be in your crease areas toward the outside of your eye. And for night, smokey eyes look great and really make the blue stand out. Use soft greys and even black, but use very lightly. Or if you want to do something different all together i would recommend getting fake eyelashes from a wallgreens sort of store (mod lash works well). Carefully put the eylashes on with glue, or get a friend to help and just wear those with a little mascara and some colored lip tint. A soft red or pink would be nice. It makes you look simple but stunning. And try and get the small eyelashes, big long ones just look funny. If the eyelash thing scares you go to the mall and Mac can put them on for you. The eyelashes there are $9. Nude colors work well with light skin. Good luckWhat color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?
Pink and brown look good but not at the same time, lol
I have brown hair, blue eyes and light skin. For me, a dark purple makes my eyes pop really nice. Also, try a copper/gold shadow, or even browns. I have had nice results with them. And, as someone else stated, try a gray eye liner. But your best bet is to try different things. What works for one person doesn't look good on another. While you are playing around with color, go and play with the cheap brands (the kind that are less than $3.00) to get an idea of what colors look nice on you. Or you can go to a makeup counter and get a consultation. Best of luck.
it should be a color that compliments you eyes. try lighter colors until you find one that agrees with your eyes. sometimes less is better--

it sounds like u have a similar complexion to me(apart from the red hair), i had a make up consultaion about a year ago and the girl who did it told me to wear brown or grey eyeshadow but not too dark. She recomended putting a very pale beige(almost skin colour) or white eyeshadow all over the lid, then use the other colour over the bone just under ur eyebrow to highlight ur eye. hope this helps
black they will stand out
My suggestion would be to go to http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson and do the Virtual Makeover. You choose the model that best matches your eye and hair color and you'll be able to select the right shades. Also try taking the You've Got Style Quiz to find a complete color look that matches your personality and personal style! =)
You should never match your make-up with what you are wearing you can coordinate the colors but never try to match. Since your hair color in red and your eye color is blue (which or both primary color) Try secondary colors like green and purple. Green will always compliment your hair while purple will do the same for your eyes.
Try them all , ppick the closest model to your complexion, hair color, eye color and try makeup on them with this website: http://www.marykay.com/whatsnew/virtualm鈥?/a>
blue eyes go with anything except for blue,
any shade of pink, soft purple, browns with pink undertones, olive green with an undertone of brown. i recommend that you go to a MAC counter (if there is a place that carries MAC cosmetics around you) and check out these shadows, they are awesome with blue eyes, i have them: Sable, expensive pink, sumptuous olive, trax, beauty mark, cranberry. MAC eyeshadows, blend really well, but if it is too much for your budget just go to a drugstore and try to match the colors you've seen with a brand like Maybeline or Lorel. (hint:they are just as good, especially when on a budget)
Experiment until you find what works best for you. Try a gray liner, taupe shadow on the lid and a pale blue on the crease.
I work at Ulta and do make up, i also have Bright/dark blue eyes, browns bring them out the best, also a very calm shade of blue will work ok, but mix them up a bit. Almay has a line to fit the color of your eyes and it is wonderful, it is a eyeshadow kit thing thats no more than 6 bucks, check it out
Browns are the best for blue eyes. Blues will drown out your eye color.
usually, with eye makeup, you should wear the opposite color of your eyes. if you look at almay products, theres a whole line of eye makeup, each thing is marked for like what eye color you have
shimmery silver n hazel colour ll go fabulous
green make sure its not lime.
I have blu eyes also and through the years the way to make your eyes really ocme out are browns and blacks, no toomuch black that'll look over done. I use a brown on the bottom and a lite pinkish shimmer on top to blend it. then i use black liquid eyeline on top then a black pencil eyeliner on bottom, do not use too much liner on top. And what i've learned is never EVER where a color to match your outfit its tacky and your eyes wont stand out much because your eyeshadow will blend in with your outfit. if your rather pale use a lighter brown. Or put Champagne in Maybelline on your whole eyelid, right in your creASE use a dark brown, then take a lighter brown and go over just the top of that, the take the champagne color or a very lite brown shimmer and blend it in. I never where blues just because i find it takes away from my eyes. I also use a Green and a red the red makes your eyes bright and pop out.
i have dark blue eyes and im obsessed with light blue eyeshadow. . it makes ur eyes stand out. .
A light color such as ';champagne'; on the lid and a brown in the crease really draws out blue eyes.
